We now know what JJ Abrams' Star Trek sequel is going to be called. And John Cho has been chatting about Star Trek Into Darkness...

The confirmation of a title for JJ Abrams' Star Trek sequel, now known as Star Trek Into Darkness, suggests that Paramount might be about to kickstart the publicity campaign for the secretive film. It's pretty much a given, after all, that we'll be getting a maiden trailer this side of Christmas, but we wonder if it might be weeks, rather than months away.

While we speculate on that, actor John Cho, who plays Sulu in the film, has been chatting to IGN. He's not giving too much away, although he does say "I think the second one may be magnificent, baby. You can quote me on that. I think it may be amazing".

Furthermore, he adds that "I think this movie is different from the first one in that we can get started on the story right away. It feels to me - having read it and having done it - like a more expansive story because we can devote more screen time to it [as opposed to setting up the origins]".

Cho also revealed that new cast members Benedict Cumberbatch and Alice Eve "blended in right away", and seems, as you'd expect, very upbeat about the movie as a whole.
