Warhawk sequel, Starhawk, is out of beta and has been committed to disc…
Here's some good news for players eagerly awaiting Lightbox Interactive's Starhawk. It's been announced that the game has now gone gold, so there's not long left now before game is PS3-bound the world over.
And, if you were one of the lucky gamers that registered and helped out in the beta of the game, there's even more good news, as you'll get some special goodies that no one else will get.
For participants in the beta there's the ‘Hand of the Founder', which surrounds one of your chatterer's hands in a glowing, atomic aura, signifying you were there from the beginning, effectively founding the world. If you played both the original Warhawk and also took part in the beta of Starhawk, you'll get the glowing hand as well as two unique paint jobs for your vehicles.
This exclusive content won't be re-released, and will remain exclusive to beta testers, which is a pretty decent way to say thanks to those that put in the time and effort to help refine the game.
Starhawk is out in North America on May 8 and in Europe on May 9 on PlayStation 3.
