New MMO, Otherland, is coming, and promises some impressive virtual world antics…
Based on the Otherland series of novels by Tad Williams, the game of the same name will be an Unreal Engine 3-powered MMORPG that takes place in a series of impressive-looking and ever evolving worlds.
Players will be able to socialise, fight, partake in mini-games and develop their own world in a subscription free environment, one that promises to offer some unique features. This new trailer certainly shows off some stunning visuals (sadly, backed by some truly awful dubstep) and with no fees to pay, it may attract a loyal following, even if it has its work cut out for it, going up against the likes of Guild Wars 2.
