Bethesda, which recently released the critically adored Skyrim, has recently posted a job listing on its website for a ‘Future Generation Console Programmer'. The position, which requires at least five years game development experience and familiarity with both Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms, will be working on as yet unannounced titles for the next wave of consoles.
The smart money would, of course, be on another Fallout title, given as Skyrim has only been out a few months, but who knows? Another Elder Scrolls may be on the cards on for an early release on next-gen machines.
What's clear is despite official announcements of Microsoft and Sony's next systems still being elusive, developers are already working with dev kits for the next generation. And, if Bethesda can produce a game as impressive as Skyrim on current hardware, we can't wait to see what we'll get on the next wave of consoles.
