The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive beta is now open to more people. Go go go…
The reboot of the ridiculously popular and legendary Counter-strike, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive went into a public beta testing phase last week, but was only open to existing Counter-Strike: Source and Counter-Strike 1.6 players, with community sites also getting in on the action. Well, now the door has been opened a little bit more, and if you fill in the online survey on the site, you may be sent an invite to the beta in the next few months.
The survey is being delivered via Steam, and the devs are looking for a wide variety of players, from CS veterans to total newcomers to the series. Obviously, they want the game to appeal to as many people as possible, and there's going to be some serious balancing to do if newcomers are going to have even a fraction of a chance against long time players.
