Medal of Honor: Warfighter is announced, and a million CoD fans prepare to troll…
It's been revealed that EA is working with Danger Close Studios once more to bring real-world military FPS addicts another does of action, in Medal of Honor: Warfighter.
Not much is known about the game as this time, but it's going to be powered by the Frostbite 3.0 engine, which also powers Battlefield 3, and it'll follow more Tier 1 operatives as they take some much needed rest from war and spend a couple of week sunning it up in Barbados. Well... maybe not.
The multiplayer component won't be outsourced to DICE this time, but will be produced in house, which is a brave move, given the track-record DICE has in the area. Then again, 2010's Medal of Honor hardly set the world on fire, so a shake up may help spruce things up. More news as we get it.
