There's a spoiler here if you don't want one or two more details on a new vehicle in upcoming Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises...
If you were one of those who followed the round-the-world production for The Dark Knight Rises last year, across the umpteen photos and videos posted of its mammoth shoot, then chances are you’re already aware that Batman has a new mode of transport in the new film.
Several pictures appeared of an airborne jet, which also made it to the trailer of the movie, that was released in December.
Well, inevitably, there are tie-in toys coming for The Dark Knight Rises, and it’s through an FCC filing from the company Hot Wheels that we now know just what Batman’s flying vehicle is going to be called. It will be known as The Bat. Took them a while to come up with it.
Accompanying the filing is an image of the vehicle itself, which you can see by clicking on the thumbnail below.
Meanwhile, you may recall our story from a week or two back, when we reported that tickets for the first screenings of The Dark Knight Rises were selling out in a couple of American cities. This is, remember, six months ahead of the movie’s release.
Well, it turns out that at least one person has put their opening night seats on eBay already. The pair of tickets for the midnight screening at Studio City in California has a buy it now price of – are you ready for this? - $250.
Our suggestion? Wait a couple of hours, save the money, and go to the screening afterwards…
