Get ready for the longest season of Chuck to date, as NBC orders 11 more episodes!
He's the spy who can't be kept down. And after battling the odds to win a season three commission a year or two ago, and then seemingly easing into a season four order, Chuck had appeared to be hitting ratings problems once more. Would NBC be looking to pull the plug after its 13-episode order for season four was complete?
The answer to that, friends, is no.
For instead, NBC has ordered a full season of Chuck season four, which is something of a relief, given the strength of the current run. Furthermore, it's not a back nine episodes that have been picked up, it's a back 11. That means that this current run of Chuck is now set to be the longest, with 24 episodes in all.
