Four stylish new teaser posers arrive for Darren Aronofsky’s forthcoming movie, Black Swan. You can check them out right here…
It’s a cruel fact that most of us in the UK – lucky attendees of the London Film Festival aside – will have to wait until 11 February before we can finally get to see Darren Aronofsky’s psychological thriller, Black Swan.
But to tide us over, we can at least console ourselves with these fabulous international teaser posters, arriving courtesy of Empire. A world away from the first poster that appeared back in August, the four pieces of artwork you can see here are beautifully, subtly realised, with not a hint of Photoshop’s airbrush tool anywhere to be seen.
Their stylishly limited colour palette and graphic use of negative space recalls the golden era of 30s poster design, or the book jackets of Czech artist and illustrator Josef Čapek, and we’d happily hang any one of these on our living room walls.
As ever, click on the thumbnails to see the posters in their full-sized glory.
