Who’s joining Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin and Emma Thompson in Men In Black 3? Glad you asked…
It's heading before the cameras in the months ahead of its release in 2012, and the casting team of Men In Black III have thus been slotting more pieces of that particular jigsaw into place.
First up, Alec Baldwin is in negotiations to play the Men In Black chief from 1969, the year in which the bulk of the film looks like being set. The outline plot reportedly will see Smith's agent going back in time to that year, in order to save a younger version of Tommy Lee Jones' Agent K (the younger version being played by Josh Brolin).
Next up, Gemma Arterton might be doing a blockbuster movie sooner than she's been hinting. She's circling the role of Baldwin's secretary in the movie, although no further details are known about her character.
Finally, and perhaps best of all, the majestic Sharlto Copley, fresh from injecting lots of life in The A-Team whenever he was allowed near the camera, is heading to Men In Black III as well. Copley is set to play a "fast-talking Yoda type alien". Heck, this is a film that's not really got us particularly excited, but Copley alone would be able to do something about that.
