When the first trailer for Stoker landed a few weeks ago, we were pretty much sold. It's the English language movie debut of director Chan-wook Park, whose tremendous Oldboy is currently being remade by Spike Lee.
The movie stars Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode and Nicole Kidman, and this new 'international' trailer for the film has done nothing at all to put us off. It's something a bit different, after all: this is basically a trailer that details the making of the excellent poster that's at the bottom of this story. But it intercuts it with no shortage of footage from the film. In lesser hands, this might not have worked. But it certainly does here.
Stoker is due for release next year.
