With the release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 this November, it would have seemed that the Twilight franchise was drawing to a close. After all, there are no more Twilight books, and the leads are getting to an age where they'll arguably have outgrown their roles.
However, all that goes against the fact that the Twilight movies have been an enormous cash cow, and inevitably, there's been some work done on how to prolong the franchise. According to Moviehole, there may well have been some progress on that front.
The site's source reveals that "they're already onto the [Breaking Dawn] follow-up". It adds that "they’ve heard everything from a TV show or film spin-off, merely set in the same world as the one in the movies but not featuring the main trio, is being seriously considered, with The Wolf Pack, one area of interest”.
Moviehole's tentacles are usually good on stories such as this, and while we wouldn't expect any news this side of the release of Breaking Dawn Part 2, we wouldn't like to wager that that'd be the last we see of Twilight.
