As we noted yesterday, there are reasons to be positive about a new take on Carrie. Stephen King's original novel still has things to explore in it that Brian De Palma's terrific earlier big screen take on the material didn't cover. Then there's a strong cast - led by Chloe Grace Moretz in the title role, and Julianne Moore as her mother. Finally, write off director Kimberly Peirce at your peril: Boys Don't Cry remains a very strong film.
So, the ingredients are in place to make Carrie work, and now we have the first teaser trailer - which debuted at New York Comic Con over the weekend - here for you to see. The film arrives in March in the US, and a few weeks later in the UK, and here's the teaser for it...
