Collecting guns, stocking up and ammo, strapping on grenades and heading off to find even more guns, pretty much the average day for an NRA member, and, for that matter, a vault hunter. As Gearbox’s Borderlands taught us, there’s no such thing as too many guns, and if Borderlands 2 lives up to its promises, you can times that by many bazillions more.
Yep, it’s time to head on over to the dusty world of Pandora once more and get ready for more ballistic mayhem than you can waggle a fully loaded Crimson Jericho sniper rifle at, as Borderlands 2 arrives this week.
And, to get you in the mood for some cel-shaded vault-hunting and Skag-killing, here’s the launch trailer, starring the new quartet of heroes, antagonist, Handsome Jack, and some other, familiar faces.
Borderlands 2 is out on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on September 18 in North America and September 21 everywhere else, and our review will be coming very soon. Now, go on, have a mooch ‘round, there must be an incendiary pistol hidden in a cupboard somewhere…
