Warner Bros is currently hard at work putting its prequel to 300 together, which is being directed by Noam Murro (original director Zack Snyder has worked on the script). The film, which stars Eva Green, Sullivan Stapleton and Jamie Blackley, is set for release in August 2013, and the project has already made its way through one or two different titles to make it this far.
And now it's got another one. Presumably because the name 300: Battle Of Artemisia was never going to be an easy sell, Warner Bros has simplified the title of its new movie. It's now going to be called 300: Rise Of An Empire.
The first name for the film, you might remember, was Xerxes, and Warner Bros has clearly decided to go for titles that people can easily say out loud, and pronounce correctly.
