We’ve had the pleasure of sitting through quite a lot of footage for the upcoming Disney animated movie, Wreck-It Ralph. We are, thus, very excited, because it's genuinely looking like it will live up to is potential.
This is the film, after all, that sees an 8-bit computer game character, Wreck-It Ralph, who gets tired of being the villain in the same old game. Thus, he does the only logical thing: he decides to explore other ones.
This all means that the film, directed by Rich Moore, can explore lots of video game worlds, can drop in cameos from a series of characters familiar to avid videogamers of the past 30 years or so, and can generally look awesome.
Now, there’s a brand new trailer, too, and it’s done nothing to dampen our enthusiasm. The movie comes out on November 2nd in the US, although sadly we have to wait until February 15th 2013 in the UK. Take a look at this, though, and see what you reckon…
