"Do you mind if we listen to something from this century?"
The original plan with Bullet To The Head, a film that Sylvester Stallone shot before The Expendables 2, was for it to be released back in April. Then, a month or two beforehand, Warner Bros announced that it was delaying the film's bow, to an unspecified date.
Well, that date has now been specified, and in the US, the film is now set to hit cinemas on February 1st 2013. That's a couple of weeks after Arnold Schwarzenegger's new vehicle, The Last Stand, is released.
Bullet In The Head co-stars Jason Momoa and Christian Slater, and it sees a hitman - Stallone - teaming up with a New York detective (played by Sung Kang), on a quest for revenge.
Promisingly, the film is directed by Walter Hill. Hill's recent cinematic record has hardly been prolific, but this is a man with The Warriors, 48 Hrs and the mighty Red Heat on his CV. He spent a good chunk of the last decade working on Deadwood too. We like Deadwood.
Anyway, enough chunter from us. Bullet To The Head finally has its first trailer, presumably playing alongside The Expendables 2. It features a tattooed Stallone, action, one liners and lots of stuff along those lines. And you can see it right here...
