It was announced earlier in the week that a new Star Wars game was to be unveiled by Lucasarts, and now we have some details about this new title. Called Star Wars 1313, the game won’t focus on the ever-popular Jedi, Sith or even the Force, but will instead follow the exploits of a human bounty hunter as he sets out to capture wanted fugitives.
Whilst it sounds similar to the excellent Dark Forces, which introduced the world to Kyle Katarn, Lucasarts has promises that 1313 will be a very different Star Wars game and will take place in a "never-before-seen dark and mature world".
More details about the game will be revealed at E3 and over the next few months, but this could be a great direction for Star Wars to take, and delving into a part of the Star Wars universe that rarely gets seen outside of graphic novels and books will make a refreshing change.
