With the film of the board game on the way, the game, of the film, of the board game is also shaping up nicely, and here's a new trailer detailing the efforts the team are going through to make this a must have for your library.
Not only concerned with such things as vehicle physics, weapon handling and finely tuned multiplayer mechanics, the developers behind Battleship are also spending a lot of time playing with water, and other effects, and as you can see from this trailer, their efforts seem to be paying off.
I must admit, I'm still not entirely convinced of the idea of making video games from board games like Battleship, but taken on its own merits, Battleship: The Video Game actually looks pretty good, and I'm interested to see how well the game turns out.
Battleship will be released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and DS.
