The Avengers (or Avengers Assemble) opens in true Whedonesque style, with Black Widow beating up a group of would-be interrogators while engaging in a lively bit of banter with Agent Coulson.
Those already sold on the film - and we suspect most readers of this site will have already made the decision to go and see it - may want to avoid clicking play on the trailer below. But for the incurably curious or those still not sure if they're going to buy a ticket for the latest Marvel movie, this brief snippet may make your mind up for you.
The Avengers hits UK cinemas on the 26th April.
