The rumour mill already broke the story, but now we’ve got the official announcement trailer for a new Sim City
Surely one of the most popular simulation titles ever created, Sim City has some pedigree behind it, and the Maxis-developed urban planning giant will be returning to our screens in 2013.
Not much is known about the actual game, and the below announcement trailer clearly states that the images are not indicative of actual gameplay, but if there are any similarities, it appears Maxis is going to even an even more detailed world with updated tech, such as research companies playing around with EMPs, art exhibitions, space telescopes and even a Truckosaurus.
Of course, it's highly likely this will amount to aesthetics only, but with more power at its fingertips than ever, we're expecting a Sim City that brings a whole host of new features to the well-established genre. We'll find out in 2013.
