Mario Party 9 is out now in Europe, and here’s a new trailer, with some boss fight action…
It may be a Mario game, replete with the usually family friendly characters, bright and colourful visuals and chirpy music, but Mario Party is a game that can ruin friendships. Get some competitive players involved, and you can watch the sparks fly.
For most, though, it's a great blend of mini-games and traditional board game entertainment, and it's a perfect party game. Now in its ninth incarnation on the Wii, things have changed quite a bit since the first, palm-shredding iteration arrived on the N64 (Tug-O-War anyone?), and the latest version features a few new tricks.
As seen here, one of the biggest changes is the introduction of boss battles, in which players must work together to defeat an end game boss, whilst still looking out for number one.
If you're up for some party-gaming action, then Mario Party 9 is on sale now in Europe, and will arrive in North America on March 11.
