The PC release date for Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City has been announced, but it won’t make you happy…
Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City may have been overshadowed by Capcom's announcement of Resident Evil 6, but fans are still eagerly awaiting the co-op heavy title, which promises to be a cross between a third person cover shooter and Left-4-Dead that bridges to gap between Resident Evil 2 and 3. However, the story may not be entirely canon, and will play with the series timeline a little, allowing users to explore alternate paths from the main arc.
It's set to arrive on both Xbox 360 and PS3 on March 20, but PC players have been dealt a bit of a blow, as they'll have to wait two more months for the game, when it eventually releases on May 18.
This extra time, according to the developers, will allow the team to implement full Nvidia 3D Vision support, alongside the enhanced, higher quality visuals we've come to expect from PC ports.
Will the port be worth an added two months wait, and will it even be any good, regardless of platform? We'll see in a few weeks.
