FX orders 13 new episodes of hit animated series Archer from show creator Adam Reed
Here's some news that should put a little spring in your step if you're a fan of animated spy comedy Archer, FX has renewed the Emmy-nominated show for another series, ordering 13 brand new episodes for season four.
Created by Adam Reed, Archer follows the exploits of International Secret Intelligence Service agent Sterling Archer, a man so self-involved and unreconstructed he makes Mad Men's Don Draper look like a considerate feminist.
Archer’s voice cast is peppered with names from Arrested Development, 30 Rock and Family Guy, and has welcomed a heap of guest stars including Burt Reynolds, who popped up dating Sterling’s mother in the first episode of 2012.
The third series of Archer is due to conclude on March 22nd.
