The PC free-to-play successor to Blacklight: Tango Down, Blacklight: Retribution, has an open beta on the way very soon
Blacklight: Retribution is shaping up to be quite an impressive title, with great visuals, promising online gameplay and full Direct X 11 support. So far, it looks as though it's likely going to go toe-to-toe with the current crop of multiplayer-centric shooters, only, it's going to be free.
The multiplayer FPS, which features all manner of weapons load outs, drivable mech suits and more, is going to be a PC-only free-to-play FPS, and so, unfortunately, isn't planned for consoles.
So far, the beta of the game has been closed to all but a select few, but as of February 27, this will no longer be the case, and the beta will be open for all and sundry. That's not long to wait, so, have a look at the closed beta trailer for now.
