There's a potential spoiler here, as a new report seems to suggest where Ralph Fiennes will fit into the world of James Bond in the upcoming adventure, Skyfall...
Currently shooting somewhere on the planet is the 23rd James Bond adventure, Skyfall. And whilst attempts are being made to keep things as secretive as possible, inevitably, stories about the production are starting to seep out.
One of them concerns Ralph Fiennes, who had been cast in an unnamed role. But now, we’ve got a fair idea of just who he’s playing, and where they fit into the world of Bond.

Still here? Right-o. Firstly, Fiennes himself has said that “I’m allowed to say that I’m a government agent”.
But according to an EON Productions source, chatting to Movieweb, there’s more to him than that. Basically, “he is set to play the new M”.
M is currently playing by Dame Judi Dench in the Bond movies, and Skyfall was rumoured to be her last outing in the role. The casting of Fiennes would seem to confirm that, if this report is accurate, and it also would suggest that Lord Voldemort might just have a new long-term franchise gig to slip into now that Harry Potter is done and dusted.
