This evening was the press launch of Doctor Who’s Christmas special, The Doctor, The Widow And The Wardrobe. And at the Q&A afterwards, Steven Moffat confirmed his plans for the future of Amy and Rory in the show.

Okay then. Moffat confirmed that the Pond’s journey will be coming to an end in the upcoming seventh series of the revived show, meaning that Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill are departing the show. We’ll still see them again in series seven, but they will depart before the run is complete, and a new companion is incoming.
Furthermore, Moffat also said that he believes River Song will return, too, but that was as much as we got.
