New posters for Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows

There are three massive blockbuster movies competing for your cash this Christmas, and Warner Bros has high hopes that the reunion of Robert Downey Jr as Holmes and Jude Law as Watson will bring home the kind of bacon it did first time around. For it’s launching its Sherlock Holmes sequel, A Game Of Shadows, in December, and it’s celebrating the fact by releasing a pair of new posters for it. Which we’ve got here.

It’s up against The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (a bizarre choice for a Christmas release, really) and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. In the US, too, the release of The Adventures Of Tintin: Secret Of The Unicorn is being held back for Christmas (it’s out in a week or two in the UK).

We wouldn’t be surprised to see Sherlock Holmes prevail out of that little lot. While you ponder that, though, here are the new posters.
