The new trailer for Steven Spielberg's War Horse does not skimp on equine matters. Here it is...
With his first film since Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull arriving in cinemas later this month in the UK (that’ll be Tintin: Secret Of The Unicorn), we’ve just received the new trailer for Steven Spielberg’s other new project, too.
War Horse is an adaptation of the acclaimed play, and is already being touted as a possible Oscar candidate. The film version stars Tom Hiddleston, Benedict Cumberbatch, Emily Watson and David Thewlis, and it arrives on December 25th in the US, and on January 13th in the UK.
This new trailer, meanwhile, is a swirling music-backed sweeping affair, with title captions such as ‘Hope Survives’ popping up, before settling on a picture of the horse of the title. It does little to dispel the thought that an Oscar campaign is being mounted here.
