The first game in around 20 years to feature Disney’s mascot, the involvement of Deus Ex creator Warren Spector is reason enough to assume that Epic Mickey will be a cut above the typical licensed fare that constantly appears on the Nintendo Wii.
The latest gameplay trailer, which you can see below these very words, provides a glimpse of Epic Mickey’s blend of 3D and 2D gameplay. With stages based on Mickey’s most famous cartoon features, and oft-neglected Disney characters such as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit making welcome appearances, it’s clear that a considerable amount of effort and thought has been put into Epic Mickey’s creation.
Epic Mickey is due for release on the Nintendo Wii on 30 November.
