New red band trailer for Faster

Sitting through Tooth Fairy, we couldn't help but wonder just what happened to Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock. Here was a man who was heir apparent to the Schwarzenegger action dynasty, and yet, through a collection of odd choices and the chasing of the family market (Tooth Fairy, Race To Witch Mountain), it's not really panned out how it should.

For his next film, though, he might just have chosen wisely. Faster has the feel of an old school action movie with an old school action star. This trailer, thus, has lots of violence, bullshit dialogue, and very little hint of what the plot is going to be. And while it may not turn out to be a classic, it does feel right that the man makes proper action movies once more.

Here's the trailer, and the film arrives in the US on 24th November, and in the UK on 4th March next year.
