Could this be the sleeper sci-fi hit of the winter? The second trailer for alien invasion movie Skyline has arrived – and we’ve got it right here…
The first trailer for alien invasion movie Skyline, released a month or two back, was genuinely full of promise. Put aside for a minute the fact that it came from The Brothers Strause, who gave the world the quite terrible Aliens Vs Predator - Requiem. Instead, it gave the impression of a movie punching above the weight of its budget.
Now we have a second trailer, and again, this is looking really quite fun. Appreciating that there's only so much you can tell from a trailer, and appreciating that we've had no shortage of alien invasion movies, there's potential for a solid night out at the flicks here. A derivative one, but an entertaining one nonetheless.
And is it just us that thinks it's got a mild feel of the videogame Crysis about it?
