Fresh from giving Sylvester Stallone his biggest box office hit in quite literally decades, The Expendables is heading to DVD and Blu-ray this side of Christmas. According to a listing at Amazon UK, we can expect the film on 13th December,
Thus far, it looks like a very straightforward DVD and Blu-ray release, with no word of extras, and no collectable editions or anything like that. In fact, it might - even if you're a fan of the film - be worth holding off until the other side of Christmas, as Sylvester Stallone has revealed that he's putting together a director's cut of the film, which we'd imagine will be released separately at some point next year.
We're also unsure whether this year's release will feature the promised documentary, which includes footage of the fight with Stone Cold Steve Austin that left Stallone needing surgery.
