He's currently hard at work putting together The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, but director Francis Lawrence will have a lot more on his plate, too. It's been revealed by Collider that Lawrence has signed up to direct the remaining two films in the franchise as well.
Lawrence took on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire after original director Gary Ross passed, due apparently to the contracted production schedule. Lawrence stepped in, and he's now going to helm The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part Two as well.
The remaining films are due in November 2013, November 2014 and November 2015. And once they're done, Mr Lawrence is permitted a sit down.
