Marvel's phase two of comic book movies begins next April, with the return of Robert Downey Jr in Iron Man 3. The movie is being directed by Shane Black, and we already know that the trailer for it is going to debut online next Wednesday.
What to expect ahead of that? Well, no doubt there’ll be the obligatory trailer for a trailer. Then we should get a poster, too. Before that, though, Marvel and Disney have released the official synopsis for Iron Man 3. Obviously, look away if you don’t want to know the outline of the movie…
“Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. Maybe he should, er, just call in The Avengers?
