Rockstar plans to revisit its back catalogue for some compilation action, as the latest retail leak reveals…

The video game industry seems less able to hold water that a pissed up waiter on a cruise ship in a particularly nasty storm, and another retail leak has revealed an upcoming release.

This time the leak involves Rockstar, which plans to release some of its recent titles in a bumper compilation pack. The leak, first seen via NeoGAF, and noticed on such retailers as Buy.com and CD Universe, details the upcoming Rockstar Games Collection. This compilation, apparently available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, will include Red Dead Redemption, Midnight Club: Los Angeles, L.A. Noire and Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City.

According to the leak, the pack is due out in November and will retail for around $60. As the information relates to American retail, there’s no information about other territories at this time.

Interestingly, the compilation is subtitled ‘Edition 1’, which would indicate that another compilation is in the works. As the standard GTA 4 is, curiously, missing from this compilation, it’s highly likely that this will no doubt feature next time, possibly along with other Rockstar classics such as the aging, but still very enjoyable Bully, Red Dead Redempiton Undead Nightmare and possibly Max Payne 3, as these are the best remaining current gen releases.
