With no sign of the greatly-demanded Kingdom Hearts 3 anywhere on the horizon, Square Enix is still keen on getting the most out of the much-loved Final Fantasy and Disney crossover RPG, and has announced a new HD collection.
Due to release on PlayStation 3 in Japan in 2013, with no current confirmation of any other regions, the HD collection will feature HD re-masters of Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix, Chain of Memories and 358/2 Days. Yep, that’s a PS2, GBA and Nintendo DS title, re-mastered for the PS3.
Although Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix is a remixed version of the original Kingdom Hearts, the collection is missing Kingdom Hearts 2 and Birth By Sleep, which will no doubt bamboozle fans who would, at the very least, have expected the two original, main instalments to be included in the same package.
Still, for KH fans, this is certainly an attractive bundle, and may even help pass the time until, shock, horror! Kingdom Hearts 3 is finally delivered.
