First poster for Michael Bay’s Pain & Gain

A film that director Michael Bay has apparently been keen to make for some time, Pain & Gain is the smaller project that he’s slotting in between Transformers: Dark Of The Moon and Transformers 4.

Starring Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson, in Pain & Gain the pair play bodybuilders who find themselves caught up in a scheme that quickly goes wrong. Kidnap, murder and extortion apparently ensue. But no robots.

The first poster for the film has arrived, and that generally means that a trailer can’t be too far behind. Pain & Gain is currently scheduled for release next April. And then, Mr Bay is firmly back in Transformers mode…
