Details about Halo 4 have been released via Microsoft’s ExpertZone site. The information, which includes confirmation of 10 new weapons and two new vehicles, some of which were shown at this year’s E3, mentions the episodic missions promised for free for players of the game.
The Spartan Ops mode, which has been promised the free DLC, will include one new story each week, which will consist of five missions. This will be spread across 50 missions in the first season, and this will reportedly add around 12 hours of gameplay to the game. Not bad for a free bit of DLC, especially for a game as high profile as Halo 4, which, let’s admit it, could have easily commanded a fee for such content.
The War Zone multiplayer modes will also receive 10 new maps as DLC, and more will probably also materialise in due course.
Halo 4 is due out on Xbox 360 on November 6.
