Season 3 won’t be on our screens proper until October, but AMC is keeping anticipation bubbling along until then with a series of The Walking Dead-related goodies.
For starters, a marathon of the first two seasons is to take place on the network on the 7th and 8th of July, starting at 11:30am EST. The marathon will culminate in an hour-long version of companion show Talking Dead featuring interviews and studio guests, as well as on-set snippets to air between each episode.
More interestingly as far as we’re concerned is that all of that will be topped off with another screening of the show’s outstanding pilot, this time screened in black and white as a tribute to Robert Kirkman’s monochrome comic. That should tide our US chums over nicely until October, we’d have thought.
