Yep, if you thought Skyrim was a huge time sink, then just wait until The Elder Scrolls goes all MMORPG. Here's the official announcement trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online, and although it doesn't reveal a great deal, save that the world is in peril without an emperor to hold back Oblivion, the hint of the familiar TES theme is enough to tingle the pleasure centres, and there's not long until E3, when we'll undoubtedly learn much more about the game.
The Elder Scrolls certainly has a hard time ahead of it, with giants like World of WarCraft, Guild Wars 2 and The Old Republic all vying for the top spot, but if any franchise has the muscle to take on the big boys, it's Bethesda's juggernaut.
