Could the cast of the new RoboCop film be fleshed out with with the likes of Sean Penn and Edward Norton?
Filming starts later this year on the new RoboCop movie, with Jose Padilha directing and Joel Kinnamon set to step into the metallic suit. The movie is a reboot, and will go back to tell the story of Alex Murphy’s transformation into RoboCop, and ahead of production, the cast is starting to be fleshed out.
There are some interesting names being linked with the movie, too. Over at The Tracking Board, they’re reporting that Edward Norton is being linked with playing a character by the name of Norton (that's not a mistake), who will be the man who brings RoboCop to life.
Sean Penn, meanwhile, is a candidate to play a character by the name of Novack, a right wing reporter, whilst the role of Alex Murphy’s wife may be filled by Rebecca Hall.
Finally, Gael Garcia Bernal is been talking about with regards the part of Murphy’s partner.
