Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises is getting ever closer, and we’ve got news of a rough cut screening, and a new synopsis, right here…
Director Christopher Nolan is still locked in post-production on his upcoming Batman swansong, The Dark Knight Rises, but he might just be seeing light at the end of the proverbial tunnel.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first rough cut of the movie was screened for Warner Bros bosses last Friday, Whether they liked it or not remains under wraps, but Nolan is back in the editing room, tightening up his film, where he’s expected to be for a good while yet.
A new synopsis for the film has recently popped up, too. It’s come courtesy of the company FilmCells. It will be selling limited edition plaques of The Dark Knight Rises, containing film of the movie, and it temporarily uploaded the following:
“When Commissioner Gordon stumbles upon a plot to destroy the city from within, Bruce Wayne gets back into action as the Batman. Waiting for him is the mysterious Selina Kyle and Bane, a lethal adversary on a crusade to tear apart Batmans legacy piece by piece.”
It doesn’t really tell us much that we don’t know, as you’d hope and expect. We do suspect (and this is just speculation on our part) that we might get another trailer in the next month or so, though, that may fill in an extra blank or two…
