The PC RPG classic, Baldur’s Gate, is set to return this year…
Teased for a possible return online a couple of weeks ago, Baldur's Gate, the old school PC RPG from Interplay and BioWare has been officially announced by developer, Overhaul Games.
On the company's website, Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition has been revealed, and alongside a logo for the HD version of MDK2 now sits the Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition moniker.
"For years we've wanted to continue our journey on Baldur's Gate, and now after months negotiations we get to do just that" says the team.
With Mass Effect 3 already out, Diablo III getting an official release date, Guild Wars 2 coming soon, and The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition on the way, the announcement of Baldur's return is another step towards making this the year of the RPG fan. Well, that and Resident Evil.
