NBC’s Community has been brought back from the precipice after an extended hiatus, and we couldn’t be happier…
When season 3 of Dan Harmon’s Community went merrily off for its winter hiatus in December, nobody was sure when or whether they’d be seeing it again. It looked as if falling ratings had sounded the death knell for the meta-referential campus comedy, until Harmon announced via Twitter that the remaining 12 episodes would be filmed and broadcast in its regular Thursday 8pm slot, starting on March 15th.
Goatee-wearing flash mobs and web campaigns may well have played a role in the return of Community, so we’d like to salute the tenacity and shake the hands of all those involved. A life without Troy and Abed in the Morning just wasn’t an abyss we were prepared to stare into.
