Inept archery, tartan and mooning – there’s no doubt that Brave represents a shift in tone and style for Pixar. And the new trailer, helpfully provided below, gives us our longest and clearest look yet at its detailed, quasi-realistic look.
Kelly Macdonald provides the voice of Merida, the flame-haired young heroine who can teach the menfolk a thing or two about using a bow and arrow, while Billy Connolly plays her father, King Fergus, and Emma Thompson her disapproving mother, Queen Elinor.
Brave opens on the 13th August in the UK.
