Job vacancies at Konami reveal another Metal Gear Solid title in the works…
Usually, a new game is announced via press releases, trade show unveilings, or even cryptic website countdown clocks, but not the next Metal Gear Solid title. Instead, the world has become aware of the existence of a new MGS project thanks to a webpage on which Konami states that "Bigboss wants you! The "next" MGS".
The page, which features a hidden piece of concept art showing Big Boss with a rather mean looking dog, is filled with job positions to work on the new MGS title, including programmers, Artists, sound designers and brand manager.
To be honest, this looks much more like a typically off-the-wall way to simply announce a new title, rather than a legitimate job opportunity, but it's certainly drawn attention. Then again, if you're looking for work in Japan and you're around the GDC Career Pavilion on March 6 to March 9, then keep your eyes peeled for Hideo Kojima, you never know, you may just snag a job. After the debacle that was MGS: Rising, which resulted in Platinum Games taking over the project, maybe there really are plenty of seats to fill at Kojima Productions.
