The live action reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles could be directed by Battle L.A. helmer Jonathan Liebesman…
It looks like Paramount and Platinum Dunes have made a bit of progress in their masterplan to resurrect the live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. The new film, which has been written by Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec, might just have found its director.
And that man is Jonathan Liebesman. Liebesman’s latest movie, Wrath Of The Titans, arrives next month, and prior to that, he scored a solid hit with Battle: Los Angeles. Variety now reports that he’s in negotiations to bring the Turtles back to the big screen.
The film’s plot and any further details are under wraps right now. But when we get further news, and confirmation of Liebesman’s involvement, we’ll let you know.
For now, his experience of working with lots of special effects wrapped around live action gives a broad hint as to just what Paramount may have been looking for. CG Turtles for definite, then…?
