Terry Crews defends the decision to target a PG-13 rating for The Expendables 2, in not particularly convincing fashion…
Imagine being a key cast member of The Expendables. You're set to return once again to a role where your job is to indulge in ridiculous carnage, and thus please hordes of fans of 80s action movies. But then, it goes a bit pear-shaped, when along comes Chuck Norris and demands that a film that should be a hard R is set for a PG-13 rating.
Still, Sylvester Stallone has already defended the decision, and now, cast member Terry Crews is the latest to try and put a positive spin on it.
“It's PG-13, do you really think only men 40 and over saw the first one? The kids bought tickets to Eat, Pray, Love and walked right into The Expendables. In fact, they were YOUR kids”, he told Movieweb.
“I get it. I really do”, he unconvincingly assured everyone. “But boobs and blood do not a good movie make. You don't want to go. Don't go. I respect it. But you will miss the greatest thing you've ever seen.”
It’s not just us that thinks Mr Crews has missed the point somewhat, is it?
