As AMC prepares to bring The Walking Dead back after its mid-season break, it has done two things.
Firstly, it’s released a special promo poster, proclaiming the film’s return.
But secondly, it’s announced that season three of the show will feature sixteen episodes, three more than we’re getting with season two.
The second season of The Walking Dead hasn’t been the roaring success of the first from a critical standpoint (and its behind the scenes changes have been well documented), but the show continues to bring in terrific ratings for AMC. May the second half of season two see the show slap-bang on form.
It returns to AMC in the States from February 12th.
